Request Account & Data Deletion
In short: You can delete your EventHall account and business listing at any time. Once confirmed, we permanently remove your personal data and listing from the Platform, except for a small amount of information we're required to keep for legal or fraud-prevention reasons. Most requests are completed within 7 business days.
01How to request deletion
- From your account (fastest way) Sign in, go to My Business Listings → Account Settings, and select Delete My Account. You'll be asked to confirm — this also removes your public listing immediately.
- By email Send a deletion request from the email address on your account to eventhall@eventhall.com.ng with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Or use the form below.
- Verification We may ask you to confirm details (such as your registered email or business name) to make sure the request is genuinely coming from you, before we process it.
- Confirmation Once processed, we'll send you a confirmation email letting you know your account, listing, and associated personal data have been deleted or anonymized.

04Timeline
Your public listing is removed from search immediately once deletion is confirmed. Underlying data is fully erased from our active systems within 7 business days, and from backups within 90 days as older backups are cycled out.
05Deleting data tied to Google or Facebook sign-in
Deleting your EventHall account removes the data we hold, including any name, email, or profile photo we received from Google or Facebook at sign-up. It does not affect your Google or Facebook account itself. To remove EventHall's access from those platforms directly, check your connected apps settings in your Google or Facebook account.
